This is of paramount importance to staff, students and families in our school community. We understand the busy lifestyle families lead and we work hard on providing various methods of communication for families to stay abreast of key information pertaining to operations, education and community news.
Newsletter
We provide a weekly newsletter, published each Wednesday via iNewsletter. Families can subscribe to iNewsletter, to receive an emailed copy each Wednesday afternoon.
The newsletter contains valuable information such as upcoming events, news from the following: Leadership Team, Learning Teams, Kindergarten and Administration. As well as lots of celebrations of students in the form of Student of the Week Awards and lots of beautiful photos!! Information and events can change with little notice so it is important to read the newsletter each week. You can subscribe and view our newsletter issues here.
Sentral App
The Sentral Parent app has been designed for parents to be more informed and in control of information. It is a requirement that all families use the Sentral Parent App, as this is our main platform for communication. The Sentral Parent App is essential for providing consent to school activities such as excursions, incursions, and camps, making payments, submitting student absences, viewing your child’s academic reports, booking parent teacher conferences, accessing term calendars, and updating contact details. The school also uses Sentral to broadcast important information, communicate first aid entries, and manage student and parent records, so it is vital that family contact details remain current.
All new families will receive a unique Family/Student Key when their child commences at our school, along with instructions on how to download and set up the Sentral App on a personal phone or device. If needed, an access key can be reissued upon request. Through the Sentral app, families have access to student pay plus. This allows parents to submit Canteen orders for students. You can download the Sentral Parent App by clicking the link.
Seesaw App
Staff communicate ‘real time’ work samples and interactive communication via our Seesaw App from each of our classrooms. Staff regularly share what is happening in our classrooms, to keep families abreast of student development and milestones. You can download the Seesaw app by clicking the link.
Qkr! App
Qkr! App is the secure and easy way to support fundraising events, from your phone/device at a time and place that suits you.
All School Apps are free to download on your personal phone/device and they have numerous capabilities. We ask all families to please take advantage of these apps and utilise them as required. If any families have any questions/concerns regarding the Apps, assistance is available by contacting the Administration Office.
Our website contains general information for prospective families, as well as enrolment option. Staff are generally available for brief discussion before and after school, however we encourage bookings be made via the school office for more in-depth conversations regarding your child/ren.
